- I will listen carefully to the wisdom of those who are ripened.
- I will be patient when I am still green.
- I will live a life, zetsy and true.
- I will search for the brightness around me.
- If life gives me sour lemons, I will make delicious lemonade…
- and share it with you.
As always, I remain resolved.

This is pretty cute! I was just happy to see that the lemons on my tree are finally turning yellow! It’s been a long, slow process, but boy, are they good! Have fun looking for the brightness around you!
Oh it’s so great when a fruit tree starts producing edible, beautiful fruit!

A beautiful interpretation of the challenge and a wise metaphor
HEY! Are you insinuatin’ that I’m both ripe AND bitter? (I ain’t denyin’ it, I’m just makin’ sure!
)
Nah, John. You’re the embodiment of bright lemonhood. (That sounded like a compliment in my head. See, that’s why I shouldn’t be allowed to take pain meds and blog!)
(In best 6-year-old voice.) Oh yeah? Well, I betcha MY pain meds’r better’n YOUR pain meds! :p
haha, you’re probably right. They don’t give out the good stuff for bruises.
