Many moons ago, I attended a beautiful Tibetan festival. The man in charge would, years later, conduct my marriage ceremony. The festival was alight with sensory experiences, from the smells of delicious food to the lulling melodies from Alma’s violin performance. The backdrop to the stage, this hand-painted tapestry, was yet another call to look beyond the moment.

That is indeed a very artistic background to go with the theme of the ceremony.

A lovely photo – looking beyond the moment indeed!
Oh, lovely Rara.
I’d love a Tibetan festival at my marriage ceremony. Wait…I’m never doing that again…

Very nice. I couldn’t look beyond the moment at our wedding, I was too busy chasing down a smartass self-retracting carpet runner!
haha!
I understand that… Dave was sick at our wedding. All he really remembers is the food.

What a beautiful photo! Your words paint a rich picture as well. Well done.
Fabulous picture. What haven’t you done?
Why would a rarasaur be afraid of a turtle? Never driven a car? Must be a city person. As for swimming across a pool? Is it the water, the distance or a lack of swimming ability? It also makes me feel good that I have done all of those things. So thank you for making me feel good today.
That’s lovely, Raur!
Thanks, Elyse!
The tapestry is magnetic! Look at all the colors wow!
I know! I wanted to take it home, or buy a duvet version of it. That’s the downside to one-of-a-kind handpainted things… they don’t make 100 little versions for people to buy.
The only way is to take a snap and then reproduce it as a painting, or find the way to make another piece close to the original!
)
I loved it also, something captivating about the figures and colors indeed
My thoughts exactly. The colours are so vivid!

Wow, I want to hear about the man in charge who conducted your marriage ceremony. You should have asked him to bring the tapestry for your reception, or did you?
