This is a personalized brick given to me by a good friend. It’s a snippet of a quote I love, from an author I love, that represents a time in my life that I will always love. My interest in this quote started a 5 year learning experience into quotations, their history, and research as a field of study in and of itself.
“If a person offend you, and you are in doubt as to whether it was intentional or not, do not resort to extreme measures; simply watch your chance and hit him with a brick.”
- Mark Twain

Mark Twain had a way with words and ideas…
You are so right! Can you imagine him as a blogger!!?
He’d be world-famous overnight!!
I like this a lot!
There are times I would love to have one of these bricks handy. Probably good I don’t.
haha, yes! Dave keeps mine in sight, but out of reach. He’s a responsible husband, haha!
haha, well. Maybe if it was a soft brick, it’d be okay?
Mark Twain was a little on the silly side.
Sounds fair to me.
Yep, reasonable.
Thanks for your comments!
Oh Mark if I could just hug you right now
haha, yay, hugs for Mark Twain!
Thanks for popping by!
I love this! The brick, the quote, all of it
Mark Twain is my hero! I love this quote (and the brick that comes with it!)
I love Twain! He has a way of being unexpected every time I read him.
I think he’d like the brick, too.

Note to self: Always carry a brick with you. Name it kindness. Kill people with Kindness.
That’s a sweet twist on the Twain words– I love it!
Lol. It’s my new favorite saying!
Mark twain said no wrong! Great selection and quote for this challenge.

Rara, I can’t imagine you hitting anyone with a brick.
Well, I haven’t had any reason to… but maybe it’s because everyone knows I have the brick? Or maybe it’s because most people are pretty awesome? The world will never know…
I think….I think I’ll keep my armor on when you’re around.
“My interest in this quote started a 5 year learning experience into quotations, their history, and research as a field of study in and of itself.” What the?? When did this happen? When you were 7 years old? Every glimpse I get into your life makes me humble, Rara.
Don’t you just love Mark Twain???
He’s fantastic!
